Dr. Albright was born and raised in a small town near the Twin Cities in Minnesota. Dr. Albright completed his pre-medicine requisites and earned Bachelor of Human Science Degree, and his Doctorate of Chiropractic Degree from the prestigious Logan University in St. Louis. While at Logan University he was on the Dean’s List, received a scholarship for Clinical Excellence, and was also awarded for special services to the university. He supplemented his training with Acupuncture & Applied Kinesiology courses. He spent countless hours, over 350 classroom hours and thousands of hours of study in addition to his Chiropractic Curriculum. He served as the President of the Acupuncture Club for more than 2-years, leading students and local chiropractors to a better understanding of the neurological basis of acupuncture.
Upon completion of his Doctor of Chiropractic, while living in Japan for six years, being fluent in Japanese greatly contributed to his advanced study of Japanese Acupuncture and attaining a 5th-degree black belt in the Japanese Martial Art of Aikido (The way of harmony). He also holds a Bachelor in Japanese Language from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities, which has greatly contributed to his understanding and certification in acupuncture, which he gained after living and practicing in Japan for almost six years. While in Japan, he co-authored an article on Logan Basic Technique, an extremely low force adjusting technique, which was published in the Japanese Journal of Manipulation. This, along with other techniques that Dr. Albright has been trained in allows him to adapt to the individual needs of the acute care patient.
Having extensive post-graduate education Dr. Jeff Albright of Brain & Spine Clinics has been described as the Best of East & West and, “… something of a modern-day Renaissance man, and strives for higher levels of excellence in everything he does.” Dr. Albright has studied neuroscience, functional neurology, neuro linguistic programming, hypnosis, auriculotherapy, neurophysiology of breathing, and Japanese Acupuncture to gain a better understanding of how to optimize human performance through brain and nervous system function.
Dr. Albright is a Doctor of Chiropractic maintaining licensure in the States of Washington, Colorado, Utah and has Acupuncture authority in the latter states. He has treated thousands of automobile & work injury patients while serving as clinic director at multi-disciplinary personal injury clinics in the Denver Metro Area since 2003. He is an accredited level 1 physician through the Colorado Division of Worker’s Compensation, has received his Diplomate from the American Academy of Medical Legal Professionals which focuses upon managing motor vehicle accident cases, and is a Fellow of the International Academy of Medical Acupuncture, a Fellow of the American Institute of Integrative Medicine.
Dr. Albright is well-known for his successful treatment of a variety of conditions including Whiplash, auto accident injuries, addictions, work and sports injuries, fibromyalgia, fatigue, sleep trouble, mood swings, irritability, hormone imbalances, digestive disorders, women’s health problems, sinus troubles, headaches and back pain. He provides comprehensive care to the people of Bellingham, Washington utilizing advanced methods including functional neurology, clinical nutrition (aka functional medicine, or integrative health), applied kinesiology, chiropractic, physical rehabilitation.
Dr. Albright continues his training in cutting edge functional neurology and Functional Medicine. He has trained in functional neurology through both the International Academy of Clinical Neurology and the Prestigious Carrick Institute for Graduate Studies. He is currently enrolled in the Post-Graduate Clinical Neuroscience Program through the Carrick Institute. This rigorous specialty training in Chiropractic Neurology requires attending neurology conferences and training modules to obtain the most recent information in the field of functional neurology. He is currently eligible to sit the American Chiropractic Neurology Board (ACNB.org) to become a Board Certified Chiropractic Neurologist, and Diplomate of the American Chiropractic Neurology Board (DACNB). He then hopes to complete Masters in Neurological Science and become a Fellow of the American College of Functional Neurology (FACFN).
As our understanding of neuroscience, or the human nervous system, is expanding rapidly, Dr. Albright spends hundreds of hours every year traveling to conferences, reading peer-reviewed literature and research to stay at the cutting edge of diagnostic and treatment options. Due to his expertise, he has developed a reputation among all types of healthcare providers and receives referrals from M.D.s, D.O.s, P.T.s, D.D.S.s, D.P.M.s and O.T.s. Dr. Albright has been sought out by pro athletes (MMA fighters, Boxers, Tennis players, ballerinas, dancers) models, actors, beauty queens, Patients travel from long distances to see him, and he has seen patients from all over the State of Washington, Colorado, Wyoming, Kansas, Nebraska, Missouri, Florida, and even from as far away as Japan. He has spoken to various groups including local acupuncture schools and colleges.
Dr. Albright’s mission and purpose are to support as many people as possible in their quest for health & to educate them about chiropractic, functional neurology, functional medicine, clinical neuroscience based rehabilitation, so they may, in turn, educate others.
